A Slipstream report is not written by a chatbot reading your data. It is computed. Your telemetry is measured by the same engine every time, and the one thing each driver should work on is chosen by an explicit rule from that measurement — so the same session always produces the same report, and every figure on it can be traced back to the lap it came from.
Your laps become distributions, not single numbers: typical pace, genuine best, and how much you vary at every corner. Each corner is read the way a coach reads a speed overlay — where the braking started, how hard it was, what the minimum came to, and the shape of the drive out. Laps ruined by traffic or a spin are excluded and named. Readings the laws of physics cannot support are thrown out before anyone can be coached on them.
One thing per driver — the largest gain you have already shown you can drive, that clears your own lap-to-lap variation. What it is worth, what to do, how many laps to test it over, and what result counts as success. Not a list of five things: the one.
Gearing and shift points measured from the data itself. Where the evidence cannot hold the variables still — different karts, different engines, no serial on the logger — the report says so plainly instead of guessing. "Worth investigating" is an honest answer; a recommendation we cannot support is not.
No language model chooses which finding matters, which number is printed, which driver a statement belongs to, or whether the evidence supports a verdict about your kart. Those are decided by rules you could check. We do offer an optional pass that tidies the wording — and it cannot add an action, change a corner, or move a digit; if it tries, its output is discarded and you get the computed words.
A difference smaller than the way your own laps vary is discarded as noise. Advice your kart never showed the grip for is never given. A section loss bigger than your whole lap gap can account for is not sold as a finding. Every number must exist in the computed evidence, which is stored beside the report — so "where does that figure come from" always has an answer.
Every figure is computed from your named logger sessions and can be recomputed from them.
